How do I take this plastic cover off? The belt roller squeaks and is making me nuts.....I don't want to break it. Gotta be some plastic clips in there??

what kind of car is that? I know my BFH will make that work right, or never again, one of the two.

Let me know when you figure it out. Mine does the same thing.

I would spray silicone lubricant in there. It will not stain anything and should be fine. That's what we used to do at Lexus.

I didn't want to just spray in there and muck up the seat belt. Its a Chevy Silverado Pickup. I know theres a couple chevy techs on here....

Silicone works. If it did not muck up a Lexus, it would not muck up your truck.
So muck off. :D :D

I took mine to Chevy and told them the belt wouldn't lock up. It got replaced under my extended warranty.

thats just a plastic cover. grab it and pull it out. there shouldn't be any clips holding it in.
dont be afraid!!!

Remember, if brute force isn't working, then you are not using enough of it.
