That is a big ice chest, it would be cool if it had dividers on it or something like that. You are not always going to need such a big ice chest.

That's exactly what it is, from the photo you cannot tell it's set up with pre-plumbed drains in case you wanted to use it as an ice chest... BTW, Bob will set it up with dividers so that you can have a big ass cooler and still storage..

That's funny Chris.. how you doing? It's large enough in there that you could be a facing lounge area to get out of the sun... put in a nice lexan sun window and it'd be perfect..

David,
How long is this boat? Is it the same bottom as the 26' Shockwave (Talon)?
Has it been lengthened or is just the swimstep and the step at the bottom of the transom make the additional length over the 26'? If it has been lengthened, how many inches?
Thanks for the photos
Dan

Dan, sorry for the delay.. I just saw this.. from a bottom length standpoint, it's a little bigger(I don't know exactly how many inches).. There were many modifications to the botttom from the 26...Steps were moved and changed to accomodate the center of gravity, center pod was completeley changed, strakes changed.. then the swim step was built in.. sorry for the delay and I hope that answered your questions, if not stop by the LA show and ask Bob..

Rick, first off..congrats on the new Boat..(bout f'n time:D )..... Here are a few updates.. Bob just ran the one in the previous photos and got 82 on GPS and Radar..of course the speedo read 87 :D . Ran out of prop using a Mercury 4 blade 28P... he just ordered some more props for this boats final dial in and is going to test the 5 blade as well as a bigger 4 blade... I'll keep you posted on any new runs and the final outcome with different props.. BTW, I'll post some pics later.. I've been buried at work...

I was by there yesterday and the Deckboat looks awsome. I think this boat is going to be a hit. It also looks bigger than most deckboats. Maybe it's just me.
Dave, BTW did you get the DVD?

82 on GPS is a great number for the 525, but wasn't this test done with a bare boat, no interior? It will be interesting to see how the number changes once the boat is complete. I also heard that it still might not be done for the boat show. Shockwave sure is lucky that Rick is one patient customer.

No it wasn't bare.. it just didn't have all of his stereo equipment in (man, that stereo should rock..) And per Bob yesterday there will definately be one at the LA show..
