a guy i work with got a call saying he won something ofcourse the dumb calls the number and it is a recording then a live person.was charged 2450 bucks for 1 minute.cingular is his carrier and said it is a new scam.

i used to run a 48 line dialer......i know all the ins and outs of the new laws.

there is only 5 key words you need to say.....
"take me off your list"
they have to abide by that....some telemarketers are bastards and will hang up on you in mid sentance ....avoiding to take you off their list.

Sux is...I think the Nautical can call since it does not fall under an unsolicited call..stayed there earlier this year.
I used to get a bunch of junk faxes - in fact I would save them. I always thought it would be fun to play with them in small claims - but never got around to it.

That's the right website...and the phone number to call is 1-888-382-1222. I just called and put mine on.

i use to get calls all the time until i signed up on the do not call registry, now my friends don't even call me. :rolleyes: :crossx:
