I couldn't touch that tag with a 20 ft pole and someone guiding the other end.
You guys are a bunch of ballers.

I used to live in Chino Hills. I cannot believe people are paying that much to live in the flats. That is focking stupid money. Nice shop but you can have the neighborhood, the cow piss smell, and the flys.:D
I visited Cali this weekend. All I can say is I am glad to be home. :D
OK, now that I have pissed off all the 909'ers you can flame AZ :220v: :) :220v:

Overbuilt the neighborhood for sure. Additionally, at a price that one could afford the low side of a Mil, certainly aren't going to buy in the middle of the city in Chino. IMHO. It is a 4-500K home with a 100K building on the property.
On a smaller scale, that was what I was going to do here, but I decided I don't want to spend another 10 years in SB waiting to recoup the 50-80K I had planned on spending building onto the house.
There is little chance of running a business, perse', from that location. Good for storage of toys for sure. But what it would take to recoup the cost of ownership, I don't see it happening. The buyer for that property has a bunch of money and a bunch of toys and looking for a roof to consolidate storage. Maybe a place to store work trucks for a construction company, something like that.
When I saw the house I had the moving van packed and ready to go though. I was thinking 5-650K. Maybe wishful thinking. Maybe not.
I was curious what the noise from the freeway would be like, but on the surface, the property would have suited me and what I do perfectly.
I worked in Chino for ten years, even lived there for a few. The once booming dairy industry is nearly headed out of town, the cow smell is mostly gone and the flies are subsiding as well.
My worthless .02

I guess it depends on how far south you go. I have not been out that way for a while but the closer you got to Norco the more dairy farms there were. My inlaw's parents used to own a dairy on South Euclid and sold it before the big RE boom.
Oh well :rollside: :rollside: :rollside:

There are a few farms left on the way to Norco, but unfortunately most of that dirt has houses sitting on it now.

I guess it has to happen sooner or later.
Did you find a place yet?

About three so far. Still looking though. Each one is perfect in it's own way. So far nothing has been perfect in every way.
They are all good compromises though if either of the three are what I decide to go on.
The money my second house is going to cost me, it has to be.
Airtime is doing a bang-up job of getting us a place though. I had very specific guidelines I layed out on day one.
Plan on a novel of nut-swinging when this chapter is complete.
