LOL, yeah unless they were driving the boat underwater they hit something "above" the water line.I can't see how the boat would have damage so high up if it was "under water" Probably a dock or a rock at night being stupid.

Wow. At least the roll bar probably saved everyone in the crash. ;)

Wouldn't even attempt to try and fix that. There's a reason that it was totaled for $53K+. Even if it cost $25K to repair, the Ins. company would have done that to save nearly $30K.
The only thing it's good for it the engine. And even that's questionable, due to the stress put on it when it ran aground hard enough to break the strut.
Remember that NV registration number on the side. Unfortunately, someone will try and fix it up and sell it. My advice is run away. Run away fast.
It may be able to be made pretty, but it will be a nightmare, if not a death trap, to an unsuspecting buyer.

I want to see how much it ends up going for. 5900 is good for all the parts you can salvage off that thing. I remember seeing someone that had a removable nose cone on a wake boarding boat??? Maybe thats what this guy was trying to do and then fuk'd up, so he ran it into a steel boiy to get the ins. claim.
