Rhino adventure Nov 11th

Here it is:
Where: Havasu
When: Saturday Nov 11th
Meeting area: Lowes Parking lot on the corner of Hwy 95 and Chenoweth
Meeting time: 9:00-9:30ish AZ time, Let's try to be on the trails by 10:00am
Take a cruising speed drive along Hwy 95 to the 40 then on to Topock for lunch and drinks. Since Darrell just made the trip he can lead US out :crossx:
For unlicensed vehicles (non street legal) you can trailer up to Lowes and unload. Darrell ( Shadow ), Gary ( Force 26) have offered parking. Gary is right behind Walmart and Darrell is 1/2 mile from Lowes. You can top off your gas at the Circle K at Lake and Hwy 95.
Items you should bring:
FULL tank of gas
Goggles
Ice chest
bandanna
small tool kit
small first aid kit
spare ( optional )
sweatshirt or jacket ( the weather is looking mid 70's )
Fix-a-flat
your passengers
Anything else you may need

Should be very safe. They've got sucurity and the constrction trailer is right there too. I'd feel safe parking there.

Part of it is along the power lines.Start North side of 95 and head behind the airport then
through Craggy wash,wraps around behind a mountain and back out,a couple miles north of Craggy wash cut across to the west side of 95,a few trails to The old hwy 95 then staraight shot to the 40.Cross either over the hwy or under.Parrallel the 40 about 2-3 miles then head north towards the tracks.
2 ways to go at that point either north or south side of the tracks.In that area there is only 1 way place to cross the tracks,so you either cross there or forever hold your peace until Topoc.Probablly be best on the way there to travel north side then on the way back the south side.

I'll bring ya one. It's the kind that mounts center of dash, easy install, the only thing i don't like about it is when you slam it in gear sometimes you hit your hand on it. If ya like it it's yours. It holds 2 beverages. Black powder coated. If ya want, I'm in late Thursday and i can get it to ya before the ride.

We usually take London bridge road. It's on the lake side of the 95. Not a lot of traffic and the speed limits is between 45 and 25 mph.

Wen't on pretty easy and fit/look great.(the allens took a little bit of time :rollside: )
I plan on installing the drivers side tonight after some crafty dremmel work.

I imagine there will be atleast 2-3 spares.(I am bringing one)
I have tools but no jack.(I figured with enough people we could lift a corner of a rhino)
You could have someone fab you up a spare tire mount that would go into the hitch.

Got my bandanas at Wal-Mart...only took me about an hour to find them...btw they are by the socks/underwear
Ivan Dan and I both have bottle jacks, so we are good there if anyone gets a flat. I'll be bringing a spare also.

I was able to fins some better instructions from Hella and I bought a new relay,fuse holder and switch.;) :p

Nice Rhino with a super heavy duty cage. It did just fine and made it to the top of olds.
Nasa called and they want to do a mock up of the cage to prevent any more space shuttle problems... :crossx: ...at first I really didn't like it, but I have gotten used to it and once I get it powder coated, I think I will just keep it.... :rollside: Not surprised it made it to the top of Olds....it really runs great and Bill had already done most of the stuff that I would do anyways.

you can adjust them with a spanner wrench.(I did mine with a big set of channel locks)
I actually softened mine up and stiffend the front to be better through the whoops.

If you have the hard mount intake...ditch the airbox lid.....huge gain in power with it off. A little more in cab noise but we'll worth it. Larger snorkle tubes don't do much. Ditch the lid and feel the power :)
Oh yeah don't forget to bump the pilot jet up to a 45.

If you have the hard mount intake...ditch the airbox lid.....huge gain in power with it off. A little more in cab noise but we'll worth it. Larger snorkle tubes don't do much. Ditch the lid and fl the power :)

My address is 1649 Kirk .. from windsor ramp go north on London Bridge rd about 1/2 a mile then turn right on Kirk three or four houses up on the left is my house.. we can fit a few trucks there im sure!

We are neighbors....if you are traveling north on London Bridge Road from windsor...right after you pass the new storages there is a small gated community called Vista Del Lago....probably about 1/5 mile before you hit Kirk...I'll be sure to say hi on Saturday..... :)
