Finding an oil pump for a 1979 Scout II. 345 inch motor. Anybody have any leads? Thanks.

um.............I'm sorry, but unless this has to do with "jumping sharks, rhinos, class, Turds, or useless videos...................Nobody can help you around here....;)

Perfect! I'm actually going to take the Scout motor, put it in a Rhino, jump over a shark with the rhino, watch the shark get scared shit less, and film it to put the video on ***boat.

I can't help you HS, but a buddy of mine is into Scouts and has rebuilt several engines. I think he's into Scout IIs.
As I recall, they're small displacement, heavy block V8 engines with camshaft gear drives that whine like superchargers.
I just gave him a call but he's not home. I'll call him again tomorrow (it's getting a little late).

Thank you very much. I appreciate it. You truly are a gentleman and a scholar Mr. Brown. This is the last part holding up the project. The guy rebuilding it didn't do his planning.

If you dont do any good, the implement dealer up here sold a boatload of scouts and still run some around, a new pump on the shelf would not surprise me at all! My cell no.s on my profile.

Thanks for the lead. The Scout actually belongs to a buddy of mine. He asked me to ask around for him. I'll talk to him tomorrow and see if he has any new news. If not I'll be giving you a call. Thanks again.

I just spoke with my friend, he said his mechanic has a lead on another part but won't know for sure for a couple days. Thank You for the offer. I will have him call you if his deal falls through.
