By boat? Only if you have a JET. It'll take you a couple hours give or take.

No idea, but Topock and Needles have gas.

63 miles from site 6 to Davis Dam. Did this ride on my lake lice last year. It was fun but my ass was very sore the next day!

Sounds like it could be a good time. Have your or anybody you know done this trip. Just curious if it is way choppy and how the views are.

After you leave the gorge there isn't much in views. Could be a tad bit cold though.

Watch the water closely after you pass the bridge in Needles. Last week driving home from laughlin the water looked REALLY low, maybe it just early in the morning. Just to let you know, i don't think there is really anywhere you can tie up and hit the casinos(i maybe wrong, someone else should be able to answer that)

i think its a nice ride seeing all the beautiful houses on the water in needles.
but low water especially in the morning, also maybe at this time of the season too. i dont know if i would try it with a prop. it is a nice ride
the riverside resort lets you tie up on the inside side of the dock..

We did it last summer. I think it was roughly 60 mi from Black Meadow Landing. With the gas prices @ the time & 1.5 mi per gallon, I think it cost us close to $300.00 there & back. Didn't hit anything, but we were definitely watching pretty close. Daytona with a V8 Evinrude.

Did it couple times some years back when I still had my jet, not to bad but got to watch carefully for low spots, mainly above the Avi hotel.................... or follow locals :p .
I added some gas at Topock just to be sure, probably didn't need to but did anyhow(boat held ~30gal). This time of year you should have smooth water unless it gets real windy.

I did the same thing a few years back on my old Sea-Doo GTX. Was a nice ride although was sore for days after that.

It's a fun cruise.. We leave from Laughlin and go to the Sandbar, the part that gets sketchy is near the Avi where it gets pretty shallow sometimes in the morning (when we leave), even with a jet you should be on the lookout for the darker water there. :)

Ive done that trip 6 times 4 in my 302 Scarab with twin 225s 2 times in my
36 Concept with twin 225s.You should have no problem with a Jet I suggest waiting untill 1:00 pm or Early afternoon. No dockage any where @ Casino Row...Very small sand area to tie/Anchor by Harrahs just to the north of their beach area.
North of the AVI on the west side will be the shell of a Casino that was never finished..Watch for submerged Rip Rap...Just read the water you should be fine..Fun trip :crossx:

Going from the Avi towards Havasu there is a rock bar that runs down the right side. Look out for that I found it the hard way.

Did it several years ago on a PWC, around this time of year, left Windsor around 9am and the water was low at certain places, so keep your eyes open and be careful.

I'm headed out to BHC for Thanksgiving for the last run of the year. The dam report says 1 unit up to about 3pm and 2 for a few hours. has anyone been out lately, and when is it coming up enough to launch at Rotary? I'm not even gonna hold my breath for Harry's to come up.

done it plenty of times with a 21 jet. shouldnt have any problems but recommend getting gas at topock if you have a heavy foot or plan on having any fun. like everyone has said, just watch for the rock bar and dark spots but if yuo go in the afternoon you shouldnt have a problem.water might be a little chilly this time of year as well if you plann on gettin wet!

Yeah, did the run myself this summer Havasu to Laughlin. With a Jet no problem. I did it in my friends 24ft Baja and wont do that again. Afternoon time will be best for water levels. With no stops took me about an hour @ avg. 60mph. Put the boat in Laughlin Bay Marina for $30bucks a night. it is appx. 3miles south of the casinos on NV side. Very nice docks with 24hr security. $10 cab ride to the Riverside Casino. Good time over all.

did it a couple of years ago on my supercharged seadoo on memorial or labor weekend "can't remember", by myself 65-70 mph the whole way to visit friends who when i got up there were heading back to take naps because they were tired those basterds, i used almost 20 gallons, the gourge gets a little ruff on big weekends 2-4 foot chop that was fun.
