My wife and I just bought a piece of property in Lake Havasu Heights and I am looking for people to bid the concrete work for a 6,000 sq foot slab and foundation for my shop. Anyone here that might be interested?
Give me a call... 810-278-1850 Cell 810-794-8032 Home

Yes, unless I was getting it for me doing the concrete work. :)
I would do it myself but I'am just getting too old for this much concrete.

Yes, I have talked to Karl. He gave a couple of names. Just trying to get the best price that I can so I have a little money left over to build the building :) :)

OG: I talked to Mike again on Fri and am still waiting for the building price from him. Sounds like a good guy. I hope his prices are competitive.
Titties: I got concrete prices (retail) while I was here last week and they ranged from $85 to $95 a yard. It will be going up again in March. Yey concrete prices! I know that lots of contractors have been busy here and that makes for higher prices. So I will do the best that I can.

Make sure you get conduit in the slab for power & phone. You also need 20' of #4 re-bar turned up 16" out of the slab @ the sub-panel location.
I live in California, but I don't mind working there. I'am out every weekend. I can work 3 or 4 hrs a day just like the Havasu contractors. :)
Thanks, Mike

That is good advice. Right now I am shopping for a decient price then I will try to figure out who is best suited to do the job. Not always an easy task.

I'm paying $80 a square foot out here. It seems high.. Oh and good luck getting someone, I have had to wait damn near three months, just to get a truck to the house.
