There was a guy who posted on race-dezert.com who said he he was pitting cars very near by and saw the accident. THey ran over to help the guys get out of the car, they could not get out of the car on their own and the fire started immediatley after they were removed from the car. He said they were literally seconds from some very bad times.

I have nothing but repsect for Travis. I like the way he handles himself with dignity and class. That being said, he will probably go down as just another "Freestyler". I personally think he has too many coals in the fire. Again, my opinion is he should commit to one discipline and stick to it. Rather it be, Freestyle, SX/MX, rally sport, desert racing, nascar stick to it and become a champion. Right now he is really only known for his Freestyle (double back) amongst most people.
Knucklehead, I bet his buddy in the vette thought the same thing.
