paint scheme

The black streak down the nose of my boat is faded and cracked bad enough it needs some attention this winter. Rather than just going back with a simple black stripe, I thought I'd do something more creative. I want to see if anyone here had a creative idea on what to do. The rest of the gel is in good shape and I like the red on white, so I don't want to change it. Whatever I do to the nose, I'll re-pinstripe the top of the red to match (flames, tribal, ???).
I also haven't decided on paint or vinyl.
Thoughts?

maybe the same red that is on the boat already... then some new color... Yellow... my personal fav... or black stripes...
