We went to a wine bar in Napa last month during crush and it was boring. I much prefer the atmosphere at the individual winerys to the getting our pour from a spout coming out of a wall.

WINE SUCKS. Ask your husband, he'll tell you. COORS LIGHT, now that's some fine drinking. Crown and Coke is really good too. Actually anything cold and alcoholic will do right about now. I need to go home.

Own a trucking co. based in American Canyon, in Napa county. 99% of what we haul is wine or wine related. The wineries are always giving me wine. also have overage on a regular basis, and some times stained labels. Have not had to buy wine myself for years. We seem to drink many different brands and flavors and can tell the difference between a cheap bottle, and a good one.
If I'm buying, usually a Sangiovese, pinot, or easy drinkable cab.
We will be putting in 178 vines next year around the property. Nursing 4 barrels of cab at the whse now. Will not be ready to drink for at least 3 years.

Intesting....my family grows the grapes that make the wine that maybe you are hauling. It's a small world In the San Joaquin Valley.

KJ is barely above Berringer as far as I am concerned. For a while the KJ Grand Reserve Chardonay was good (2002-2003) but now it tastes like that Vinters Reserve shit...yuck
NOT a KJ fan?!?!?! Do tell!! The Hubby does all of their ads. Not that we get paid in grapes..Damn it! However, I am a KJ fan. Who's better??!! Do tell!!

Wine - ing OR whinning??

Jim W

Anything from Robert Mondavi.
Or Fetzer wines.
Toasted Head makes some pretty nice stuff.
All really good wines at a fair price.
Don't buy anything from New York. To make wine from NY grapes they have to add raw sugar and makes for a poor wine. Unless you like "ice wine" which tastes like sweet grape juice but lot's of people do like it.
Enjoy.
Be good, Jim
