Lake Havasu Water Temp

I know the various websites say the water is about 74 degrees or so, but I've seen a few posts on here where peeps say it's cold. So, what is the "real world" water temp in laymans terms? Thanks.

The water in June is perfect, but it gets way warmer in July and August.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be rolling out there Friday as well, first time I've been out to the lake this time of the year. Usually done by mid to end of Oct.
