Ok I've been a river/duner all my life. Can someone explain all the hubba with the Rhino's? You can't really dune them like a rail, ride them like a quad or use them like a 4Wheel drive truck out there..? So all I see is basically a glorified, over blinged, golf cart for either older people that can't handle the dunes anymore but still want to be there in style....or the young persons ice-chest on wheels?
What the hell am I missing? :rollside:

Although they are pretty cool looking I dont see a reason to go out and get one. If I want to ride in the dunes or the dirt I would rather have a quad.

A few weeks ago when I was in Glamis I didn't see many places that the rhinos couldn't go. Deano was showing me around the dunes and you would see a pack of them on top of one. They seem pretty capable to me. You can't take your friends on a quad or bike with you like you can a rhino so maybe that has something to do with it.

I sold mine a year ago and regret it. It was a cool little car for the family to cruise around in and socialize. It was safe, cheap, and did not scare the shit out of my wife. I will be getting another.

You can't compare the two. Rails are badass. The rhinos are just another fun toy...that you could put in your pickup. :)

First thing I wanna ask you is have you driven or ridden in one?
Heres the answers I have for your questions. Yes you can dune them, just have to pick your lines right and it will go anywhere a rail will go. Not even close to a golf cart. I had a glorified golf cart, huge motor, long travel suspension and it wouldn't do have the things the rhino does. As for comparing it to a rail, or even a jeep, its not even close. My Rhino fits on quad trails in the mountains where I like to ride. My g/f can ride with me. And yes I even owned a rail. No where near as much fun as the Rhino. But others may have different opinions. And the best part about the Rhino besides how much fun they are to drive is it will fit in the back of my truck for easy transport. :rollside: :rollside:

To keep up with the Jones... that's funny.
I bought mine after I drove one. I was set on getting a quad at the time but that all changed. My wife and kids love it and I ride it atleast 2-3 times a week in the hills around my house. I also still have a 74 Jeep cj5 that just sits since I got my Rhino. The Rhino is way more fun IMO.
Different strokes for different folks. Not all will like them and what does it even matter??
