Any FF/Medics want a job in the NW?

Act fast. Thought I would post this. Our dept is trying to find some lateral medics. This is the second time they have advertised. Here is a link App. (http://www.scfd9.org/scfd9jobs.html) I can not believe the lack of interest. 2-3 apps so far. We just hired 8 for the first of the year and need more. Spokane is a great area to live.

When we test for ff/medic we get veryfew applicants, but for just ff we get tons of applicants.

Thanks for trying. What is the cost of living like in Spokane?

I moved from Escondido in 93' It is a lot cheaper housing than where your at. Gas food and everything else is the same. No state income tax though. I bought 5 acres for 45K with a great view 5 years ago. Built a nice 6000 sqft daylight rancher myself. I sure could not afford that in SoCal.
