Yup and turning in to a great team leader.
Here is what he had to say about Kwame today.
"What Kwame needed was a brotherhood," said Bryant after Sunday night's Lakers victory over the New Jersey Nets, a victory in which Brown contributed 13 points, 9 rebounds, 2 blocked shots and an intimidating defensive presence. "This is a team that will embrace him, not throw him under the bus. We will always look out for him. We care for him. He was under a lot of pressure in Washington."
Coach PJ has said Kwame should be averaging 15 points and 10 rebounds per game after the all star break.

Yeah, he is. I would have got up and knocked Raja Bells head clean the **** off his shoulders for some shit like that. Instead, Kobe was the bigger man. Raja is just mad he will never be close to that type of greatness.

Kobe is a very good player. He's no Jordan, and he can't lead a team like Magic, Bird, or Oscar Robertson could. But not being those guys still leaves room for plenty of of great play, esp in the current somewhat down phase of the league...
