My friends and I used to have spud gun wars just without a potato. A fully charged cannon will do some SERIOUS damage. Instead of a potato, we would use the hard dinner rolls. They are hard enough to leave a welt, just not hard enough to cause SERIOUS damage. (Not recommending trying this)
