The dog was up at 5:30 ready to go frolick in the snow. At first she sort of picked at it until she remembered what it was...then I watched her wrestle with it for half an hour :)
I'm one of 5 people at work today. Gotta love that we stayed open despite that for only the second time in like 10 years State Farm is closed and IDOT is turning people away from the roads

My folks have an Alaskan Malamute that prefers to sleep outside on the rear deck in the winter.... 15* outside and he loves sleeping in the snow..... they also have a dog sled and take him mushing...

I'm still waiting to hear if we are working today. We are supposed to go drive to finish a house in Champaign today... in possibly the greatest snow vehichle of all time, a Ford E250 2wd cargo van  . Soooo basically I fully expect to be killed in a tragic van accident on I74 today, should be a good time lol. :D

I used to have a Malamute. Those are awesome dogs. We had him when I lived in Tahoe and he would love to be in the snow more than indoors. However we would have to leave him chained up outside (no fences up there) because it seemed like instinct for him to kill other animals. Closest domesticated dog to a wolf is what the vet would tell me.

umm good luck with that. Last I heard IDOT was turning people away on I-74. Don't get killed please  :D I'd hate to read the obit "Maxwedge and imaginary wife die in Ford E250 2wd cargo van on the way to shit job, leaving scary Cujo dog behind in the snow" :D

My friends had an Audi A4 Quattro Wagon, a Volvo Xc90 AWD and a 4wd F150 and they couldnt hold a candle to how easy I was able to traverse the roads this weekend.

This is the ultimate snow vehicle...if you want to get loose and have some fun. You have to take the traction control off though. :D

Yeah it's fun. We got it when they first came out. They didn't have AWD then. When they come out with the redesigned one we'll probably trade this one in.

No... a 3/4 ton 2wd pickup with no weight in the back and bad tires is the ultimate parking lot slidder when it gets slick... :D

A 300 HP RWD sports car in the snow, ha ?? Fun yes, safe....noooo ;)
I think opening a parking lot with a simulated snow surface would be a great deal, charge kids $75 for a 1/2hr to play with their cars, I'm sure most Evo/WRX guys would love that. :p
