Stolen Southwind West Hills, CA

UPDATE: 12-08-06
Boat was recovered a few miles from where it was stolen.
Now the bad news...
The boat was completely stripped of ALL the components.
Motor, pump, interior, gauges, steering etc... all gone!!!
Basically a hull was left on the trailer.
(I'll bet somewhere a Southwind is getting a complete make-over) .
Thanks to all for the concern and looking out for her.
Sorry, but since it is not my boat, I cannot answer any questions.
Lets all use this as a reminder to make sure our boats are well
secured during this winter season.

I know the feeling...had my 24' Hawaiian Day Cruiser stolen in front of my house about 4 yrs ago broad daylight and never has been found and it was bright red.......I hope that boat gives them as much as a headache it gave me...focking bastards.

Someone could also be installing that 454 in their truck about now. Start checking the area where the boa twas found, alleys and look over fences on a Sunday.
