I'm thinking ordering a couple of gauges from you for my Rhino. Do these come with the rubber boot to cover the back up?

 So how long do you think they'll last mounted in the dash of the Rhino?

Hard to say. I've had a lot of guys buying them for sand rails etc for years though. A lot of Carbon Fiber stuff in particular. I would think you could make some boots out of some thin rubber stretched over the backs and secured with big tie wraps around the case of the gauges to keep most the dust out. It would probably be a good aftermarket item for someone in the molded rubber industry to make.

Call them and see if they'll sell you the boots. They may have someone making them just for them. I'm pretty sure its not an Auto Meter offering.

I'm probably just gonna order them from you. I'll figure something out to protect them.

The stuff in the bottom right corner of this page (http://www.rexmar.com/page381.html) works pretty well for sealing stuff up too.

Sounds like you haved a plan, just in case...here is another option. A lot of RC dudes use this stuff to "waterproof" different radio components. It may work for your app. Good luck...

what about cutting the hole about 1/16th over and using a uniseal? I know from exp in the custom aquaruim biz that they take vibration really well with out cuasing a leak( plus they are the best way I know of to seal a pipe to the side of another pipe of diffrent materials), They might work for this app.

I have an old bicycle inner tube that I can tie wrap behind the guage also. That would work for what I want to do.
