Haines or Fruit of the Loom
I've had terrible luck with FotL waist bands. After a half dozen washings, I'm stuffing the waist band elastic into my pants with my shirt tails.
How do they last for you?

Look, there are more important things at stake here. What really needs to be determined is who properly cycles their undies.
Say you have 14 pairs of those tighty whities. Your woman is gonna do the laundry and put the clean ones back in the drawer on top of the stack. But wait! What about the ones on the bottom? They won't get the proper amount of wear, and the ones on top will get all stretched out and skidded.
Make sure that hunny puts the clean ones on the bottom of the stack. That way they all get an even amount of wear.
This is science after all, dammit! :hammerhea

Cycling them is a definite must. Get as much wear out of all of them.
