Actually, I have a 24P, a 25P labbed, and when it's cool out, I could turn more prop, so I thought I might try a 26P to see if the short bus might get out of it's own shadow :)

I have an extra one at my place if you want to go pick it up. I don't want to sell it because it's my extra, but you can borrow it for all winter if you want.

Thanks Bill, but I always feel wierd borrowing something, I'd rather just buy one. Besides, I don't think the Nazi would let me through the gate to pick it up.

I know I can spin the prop to the proper rpm range, I just don't know if I'll like how long it might take to get there.
Actually the 24P I had re-pitched to 25 with more cup added is probably as good as I'll get. It puts me right up near the rev limiter most of the year, and the only time I could use more prop is when it's cool out with good dense air.

I also have a 5 blade maximus you're welcome to try out as well. My deck won't pull it....Hey NSF let me know how the labbed 26 goes. We've had some good luck on our 28' Decks with it.

I've heard the only way a 496HO could pull one of the Maximus props was if you cut down the diameter, and labbed it.

I'd be curious to see if any HO could pull a Maximus (entry level pitch), other than maybe in a 21 footer.

With the labbed 25P, I am hitting the rev limiter at 5150rpm's.

We may not be the fastest, but we have good stereo's :) And, it never fails, I may not get there first, but when I get there, the boats always crowded.
Not all bad....................
