I just watched an interesting tidbit on some news show. A lady in N.Y. has said her son who is serving in Iraq requested that she send as much silly string as she can because they were told by the Marines (he was Army) that they use silly string when entering buildings to help them see trip wires that the sneaky fuc--king ragheads use to set off booby traps. They spray it in front of them upon entry and it hangs on the trip wire exposing it before they trip it. She had a garage full of donated cases of the stuff. Good for her!! NSF

I saw this last week. I guess it's true, necessity is the mother of invention. I can just see it now, silly string cost the public $1.99 and per can, but Uncle Sam will pay $9.99 a can and they will be painted green once the silly string company gets a government contract.

I would buy them a case if I knew where to send it.
As long as it wasn't at the bottom of a lake:hammerhea
