i heard a rumor that toyota was gonna make a diesel tundra.. i looked on the website but they dont show anything..

I will buy one for sure. I love my Tundra, just wish it had more low rpm power and better gas mileage.
The new Tundra however is pretty ugly.

I'm pretty sure Toyota makes a Tundra diesel... they just don't import it into the US... EPA regs and what not.
There are some seriously cool foriegn vehicles that can't be brought into this country because of DOT/EPA regs...
Like the OG Landcruisers... that are still made in Brazil.... with diesels.... I'd buy one...

I've got inside info that Toyota IS making a Tundra Diesel. However it won't show up here until January 2008 at the earliest. I was all stoked on waiting for one, until I saw the new Tundra at SEMA this year... and I've gotta say, it's pretty fugly.

I did too, I thought it was pretty blocky but in person it looks a little better. If they make the Diesel do you think it will have the same body as the Tundra or have a different body like the Fords?

and some cars.i talked to a toyota master tech before xmas(trying to recruit a employee:D ) and he told me his dealership had to add an entire wing to their service dept and show room before toyota releases them, toyota franchise made them do it.

How do you make diesel out of rice?
The recipe calls for Izuzu and Duramax, add an Allison to sweeten it all up.
GMC's my tow truck, Toyotas for daily driver kid haulers though.
