Jeff wanted to wash his car, but there was a long line. They decided to move it along faster by helping others wash the cars . . . but not before they donned their wrestling masks.

Your right, I better get ready for next year and get back soon.
Sleek, Yes she does buy my wardrobe. If I had to do it I'd be wearing nothing but API and race Tshirts, flip flops, and worn out swim trunks.:)

I was just looking at the pics again and thought I would add a quick story.
I pre ran around 300 miles of race course, the section between La purisima and Loreto was some of the toughest of the course. My buddy lost a bolt out of his front control arm so I went looking for it and found it sitting in the middle of no where. Right next to the bolt was a young puppy. I coaxed it out of the bushes with some water and a few snacks and had a new best friend. Later we met the owner a dirt poor goat farmer. He was the coolest old guy and offered us his hospitality. I could see this was the most excitment he had seen in a long time. His boots where worn thru and he had no shoe laces. I offered him a set I carry in the buggy and it was like the best Xmas ever. The Baja Karma paid off 2 hours later when I broke the trans cooler weld. My co dog got a hot bath of ATF and we where wondering how we would get back to Loreto miles away? I pulled out all my bags of tools and we somehow managed to plug the welds with 2 part puddy and ran it the rest of the trip.
I could tell a 100 stories just like this of helping people and people helping us. It truly is a brotherhood down there, I would have not made it home if not for help from complete strangers, but thats another story. baja is the most addictive drug I have ever taken. To quote Rick Johnson
" You love it you hate it you love it you hate it,"
Cant wait to get back.

Not good,
Wiped out a spectator at Ojos, burned up the wiring at Coco's and took a 10 hour nap.
No other problems outside that but I think we ended up 14th in class. Not sure where we ended up for the year top 5 as far as I remember. I'm not sure how much I'm gonna do with the Pflueger team next year at this point. I think my own team is gonna use up all my time.
I Might make a go of the 500 and 1000 in the new car if someone see's a benifit in bringing me a wheel barrow of cash and I can con a ton of friends into a 10 day adventure on shityy roads down to Cabo.:D
Wanna do a Marketing partnership to try and sell the greatest game in Baja? :D ;)

I'll take what I can get. My buddy spent $10-15 grand to race his Jeepspeed this year in The 1000. Lucky for him He is hooked up with a great company that is growing in the offroad Market and commited to this whole season.
His publicity at the 1000 (even without finishing) did not hurt a bit

Funny I was the crew chief on that team up untill the 1000. Guess I got off the bus too soon.:D

What are you planning on building for a race vehicle? I'm assuming that it wont be the current crawler? Wonder how hard it is to get someone to sponsor such a thing?

Currently building it, come by for a cold beer and check it out. My Chromoly bill is adding up. You can stand around it with us and try and make more excuses to Angie about why she does not drive a New Tahoe, and I need another off road car.:D 1700 Jeepspeed car, entry level racing, not the big money stuff but still not cheap. I wanted to start entry level and see what I can do before I mortgage everything for a Pro Truck or Class 8 Truck.:D
I have recieved a lot of help from some great people in the industry allready in the way of product support and tech advice so I can not complain. Finding someone who see's dumping cash into a project is not that hard as long as you have something to offer in return. I'm working on finding someone like that right now.. Too bad a race car does not sell more plumbing!:jawdrop:
Sorry Barry I can't post any pics yet but hopefully soon, this one won't break the front end in half next time I give you a ride.:D

Cheap aint the word for racing in Mexico, we run the #260 Best Buy/ Yellow freight Pro truck, and I think we are up to 20 grand to race the 1000, with a 3place in class yor not toing to retire off of prize money, it is bragging rights only!!!
We ran the 1700 Peltzer Jeepspeed two years ago and it was about a 7 grand adventure.

Yea, 5 years not one wreck, every part was still on the car, rolled it, and got T-Boned, bummer, we brought it back and it ran one more lap, broke steering, its for sale, doesnt look good but will still beat most 1700's out there. Charley wants to trade it for a Rhino.
Whores?????You hear that saying what goes on in Vegas stays in Vegas...we let them use that saying, it belongs in Mexico....VIVA ANTHONY'S!!!

what do you mean by that? race cars sell lots of plumbing. At least the kind I deal with. So when it's time to plumb that thing (brake hoses included) let me know. Maybe we can work something out in that area.
