I think Simi Honda still had a Bombardier 250 over the weekend.
You can get it for a reasonable price below MSRP.

Ask for Mike.
No hassle, straight forward dealing.
We just bought the '07 Honda 250 there for about $3800 OTD.
They have some more Honda 250's for less than OTD Cycles.
Many refinements on the '07 Honda 250:
The "rider optional" auto/manual clutch is excellent, better suspention, way, way smoother shifting transmission with short "Throw" shifting,, more peppy, lots of refinements over the '06 and far better re-sale.

Family thought the Bombardier sounded like a Sidewalk sweeper, but seems like a nice ride.
If you can't find a ds 250 and your heart is set on one,, call the Steve the sales mgr at Berts tell him ya want a blind bid for what they'd give it to Ross and Alice for.
They have a half dozen of them on the floor. Go to the top, go to Steve.

Honda 250ex great bike. The sports clutch is great for learning.
Go to La Cycles, best OTD price with NO BS.

My wife rides a 250EX and my daughter rides a DS90. Both trouble free 2004's. Both are good bikes but the Honda is the best bet for re-sale by far and more solid/well-built.

I called LA Cycle and got their OTD price on my YFZ450 and then called Berts. They beat LA Cycles price.

Here's the strong rumor on LA Cycles. Don't hold me accountable for it, but it seems to be true:
LA Cycles was bought out by a consortium of Southland Motorcycle dealers and the name was changed to OTD Cycles. (orig owners still have a no-hands-on slight % interest for bragging rites and rumor control).
Then the prices were all inflated and raised to an OTD price of $100 over MSRP on most models, with a discount on less popular models.
It is still running on the fumes of the old LA Cycles reputation for cheapest prices, when in fact, it's NOW charging more than what most other dealers have been charging all along.
Now when you walk into a So Calif dealership their first words are:
"We can beat LA Cycles prices".
Sure, because they own LA Cycles and ran the prices up.
"We hate LA Cycles" they'll tell ya. - It's all rehearsed.
We've bought 8 new motorcycles and quads in the past 24 months and early on LA Cycles was kicking everyones ass in pricing.
Not any more.
They wanted $6860 OTD for Ali's KFX 700, that's with the options that juiced the price up a bit.
Got it from Berts $6100 OTD with exact same options, installed free.
Same drive time to both places.
I can't prove most of the above (except the pricing) so don't hold me to it, but I will say something has changed at LA Cycles. This is just the scuttlebutt I hear at the dunes and in the Sand Forums.

I called most of the Yamaha dealerships in LA, Ventura and OC. Berts was the only dealer willing to match LA Cycles for an '07 YFZ450.
A few dealers had lower prices but they were on the '06 model. I figured was worth the hour drive to get an '07 for less than most would sell an '06 for.

LA Cycles is OK, not a bad place,, but my point is the game it's on.
If they have the inventory on popular models when other dealers run out, then they jack their prices up.
Watch their adds each week in the cycle trader as models become popular.
We've bought several Hondas, Yamahas, Suzukis this year, and one Kawasaki.
Beat LA Cycles prices at the local dealers on every one of them.
Went to Berts because they had the color selection, and the good price too.
I'd still do business at LA Cycles, don't get me wrong, they're good, but if price is the BFD then shop around.
Remember that some people will walk and spend $125 on gasoline to beat a $75 price difference.
Ziggy sees it from time to time he writes.
But we saved thousands over the course of buying several quads.
The YFZ is still the champ seller, the most popular, the best running and the least problems if any.
Look for fuel Injection in '08.

My buddy bought a '06 YFZ450 from LA Cycle earlier this year and he had some issues with it. Took it back to LA Cycle and they replaced it. Turns out they were having some dealer set-up issues at that time. Thats one of the reasons I went to Berts. I bought my Sea-Doos from them years ago and thier service was good.
