My screen is pooped. Broken by a yellow notepad. That's a $750 mistake. I left a memopad on the keyboard and partially closed the computer to carry it out to my truck. I guess it got squeezed and it popped the screen.....they quoted $1000 to repair but is like $749 for a new one... I suck.
I think I need military spec equipment....

There is a Toshiba authorized repair shop over by John Wayne airport that will replace them. They use to turn our laptops around in 24hrs even replacing mother boards. It used to cost us $75 to replace the screens, It's called a t-screen warranty they submit it to Toshiba for you and then replace under that warranty.
Let me know if your interested and I'll find the name of the place.
