I have a locking receiver pin that I've lost the key to and I need to install a drop hitch for my new boat trailer. Does anyone have any way of cutting or breaking one of these off?

Usually a good size hammer and a well placed wack will bust them off in one shot.
I've removed several of them that way.

Espeacially when i loose my keys!;)
I still say 1 good whack with a decent size hammer,It works Those reciever pin locks look good but are weak as hell.Unless it is the type with the Pad lock
looking look on the end.The ones with the knurled looking lock end are as good as not even having a locking pin.

My dad just did this...he beat the shit out of it with a sledge and no luck...finally busted out the sawzall, which worked much better.

Power Hand grinder is the best method.
Get a cutting disc, cut through the shaft.
You'll buzz right through it.

I did that once and took it to a lock smith. He could not pick it so he just drilled the lock out. Pretty simple.
