My grandmother in law celebrates her birthday tommorrow.
A great lady, 85lbs soaking wet all of 5 foot 4. Loves to cook for the family, especially during the holidays. She doesn't like to go out to a restaurant. She thinks the food is never the same as when you cook it at home.
She loves seafood, she asked me to cook a "honking" lobster for her as a meal tommorrow.
Problem is I can't find anything in the grocery stores bigger than 1 - 1-1/2lb er. I can live with it, but because she asked for something special, I would like to do something nice.
Anyone have any experience in the IE finding a good size lobster to cook?
Brian

Coscto has the seafood thing going on now. I think they just have the tails though. King crab legs were huge and $9.99 a pound.

Market Broiler would be a good choice. Also, try asking the stores (Costco, Sams, etc) if you can order a huge one. Most will do it if you give them a few days notice...

Go to Cosco. They sell 2 tails (good size) together and they are quality. Very reasonable in price as well.
Boil or Broil to your liking :)
