So when are the cat manufacturers going to get together to do something about the insurance gouging? Don't you think it will soon effect their sales?

That is our first boat and it is going to have the 525 in it, I cant wait to get it back from the show and run the shit out of it.
I think we have the fist 8 on order so if you want one stop by the Nordic Power Boats booth and put your name one one...
The mold for the 42 is DONE they wanted one for the boat show but the cat took presidance, so the 42 should be on the water this year now.

We have an industry get together to attend on Saturday night, but I was thinking of getting a room in Hollywood for Saturday night so we can hit the Skybar, hitting the show on Saturday morning/afternoon with my riggers and then having fun on Sunday at the show...

O. K. Here is my innovative thought of the day. Use the Mercury smartcraft electrnic throttle/shift rather than cables, and have a removable steering wheel hub. Then, when you remove the steering wheel, the console section moves forward with a motor mechanism. Replace the wheel, and the console automatically moves back into driving position.

Nordic Rig, I see you don't have many posts, so I assume you lurk a lot. I encourage you to post more, you could be a great asset for those interested in the Nordic line. I think you have a winner there, and I see the company really moving up with the new ownership.
Congratulations on a great new boat.

O.K. then, here's one more for ya. The wheel is internally connected to a wire, that when you pull the wheel (and place it in a custom billet holder) pulls the console along a track, forward. Then when the wheel is replaced, a spring pulls it back into position.

From what I understand is it didn't have power in it at the show(I could be wrong because I personally did not look under the hatch) alignment problems! I would take a closer look at the boat! This is the first one and it was finished the night before the show. And how is it you get in the driver seat and use those controls?

This whole setup struck me as odd:
http://www.hotboatpics.com/pics/data/500/23DSC01101.JPG
Not to mention the boat had no storage, at least from what I could see. The access to the bow was blocked off right in front of the foot wells for the front seats. Don't know if that was just because they ran out of time. Guess they left Havasu at midnight to get the boat there for setup and were working on it up to the time it hit the road.

I saw the baot on the trailer coming towards LA friday before the boat show and it looked great.
I think the center console needs a little work and I would love to see either a cuddy bow or walk through.
Price seems a little steep compared to regular Nordic pricing but the interior is quite a step up from the rest of the line up. :)
Oh yeah impressive GPS numbers for a 525!! :crossx:
