Mine fits in the back of my Chevy shortbed w/ the tailgate down. Little tough going over the wheel wells and not thru the back window.

I get mine in my F250. dont expect to lift your tail gate, and strap the hell out of it.

You will need the tailgate for the back wheels. Don't you have a tape measure.:D

Its quite a science.
I do it every year from Murrieta. What I do is I strap the cart down to the truck eye bolts up front. Then I hook up some more tie downs through the tail gate to the truck so the tail gate comes up ( not very far ) but its enough to where the car would not roll out.

Gas or Electric...If its gas make sure you take it off the truck asap. Its kinda hard to use the choke and warm it up on the back of a truck. Or you will be pushing it.:D

I only took it there, jacked up the tailgate pretty good. Yes, I also towed the boat.

It won't be a problem. My cart with long travel barely even sat on the tailgate. I towed this thing to the river many times and never had a problem. Heres a pic.

I never had a prblem with my stock motor. But if it was that hot out we usually weren't out playing in it. We usually just went for night rides. With the V-twin I never had a single issue either.

get a 3/4" sheet of plywood, and lay it in the bed and over the tailgate before you load.. it'll spread the weight around, and should prevent the tailgate from being bent from hitting a bump in the road...

ive had mine in the back of both a F250 long and short bed. i back mine into the truck to avoid driving over the inner fenders (long travel kit on the front). the tail gate shut with the l/b and tires barely resting on the tial gate with the s/b.
