Star Wars question........

A friend of mine has a Darth Vader helmet that was worn in the first star wars movie. He also has documentation for it. It was given to him by some guys from SoCal that come up here for duck hunting.
The question he was asking is what would this thing be worth?
He said they told him that if the movie went as planned it would pay for his kids college.
Any thoughts on this?

I would say that if he can prove it real, then it would probly pay a good sized chunck of his kids ed...( atleast at like a csu or UC.)

There it is,, it has to be verifiable, and the documentation has to be verified too.

Also, if it is REAL and came from the first movie, and you can prove it, you may also run into legal problems if LucasFilm hears about it. They have a very aggressive legal team, especially when it is something that was stolen from a set. And they watch ebay very closely.
