I'm not a real NO fan but I really wanted to see them win for a couple of reasons.
1. they've never been to the SB
2. they were the underdogs
3. NO needs something good

BTW: F the bears. They had an easy regular season schedule and an easier playoff schedule, they were handed their way into the super bowl. I hope the Patriots STOMP them in the super bowl. Especially since the bears have not had to face a quality opponent yet.

You are right and to be the best you have to beat the best, the Bears have not had to play a good team yet. You will see how badly they will be picked apart. We are talking about a team that was spanked by Miami, almost dropped it in AZ and was crushed by the Packers in the final game. You cant win a championship with a POS QB.

Funny you should mention this. At the time you posted, I was standing in snow at Soldier Field in the middle of 70,000 bears fans cheering on my Saints.
Oh yeah, I was running my mouth, pissing a lot of Bears fans off, right up 'till about the middle of the 3rd quarter, then I had to eat a big helping of fumble pie.... er.... I mean humble pie. I shook the hands of all the Bears fans around me and congratulated them on their win and laughed with them. That was a big pill to swallow and stung like a bitch being taunted by Bears fans as we walked "the walk of shame" back from Soldier Field. But, we would have been doing the exact same thing taunting them if we'd had won...;) so no hard feelings there.
I proudly wore my #8 Archie Manning Saints jersey the rest of the trip in Chicago and on the way home on the plane. I will aways bleed black and gold and I'm very thankful for the season that they had. It gave a whole bunch of people something to look forward to and be proud of. And it stands the old saying "watch out next year!"
I'll be pulling for the Colts in the big game now. Not so much as for being against the Bears, but cheering for a local N'awlins boy, Peyton Manning and the great LSU running back Joseph Addai!
