HEY EVERYONE I JUST GOT MY 2007 CHEVY 1/2 TON 2WD BACK FROM R.C.D. AFTER FIVE WEEKS OF TEST FITING HERE IS THE FINISHED PRODUCT. WHEELS ARE 20X9 EXTREME ALLOYS AND 35X12.50.20 TOYO MUDS. ITS NOT A BAD LOOKING TRUCK.

Looks good. That a 6" lift?
Hey, those pics were taken right across the street from a little park, above the Town Center right? I work right at the top of that street...

Nice job, the new Chevys fender well look very squared off? also is that a coil over shock sla front suspension in front and no more torsion on the gm's? if so that would be a good thing finally followed Ford on that one.
YES!!!!!!!!!!! finally a coilover. rcd did not have time to do a coilover yet, so im going with king and setting up the front another 1 inch and lowering the rear 1.5 inches...

I havent ridden in a new body style silvy yet but my buddy drove a R&D vehicle for a week and said it rode like ass compared to the 06's. I know they put a different spring on the rear to increase towing capacity....did the lift help that at all?
I need to go for a ride in a new one with the 6.0 to see if it's worth trading in the 05.:)

No worries... it's gonna be a while before I can do them anyway... GF just had a birthday and got the maltese puppy she wanted... so there went my gears fund. :D

THE 07 RIDES 110 PER CENT BETTER. WITH THE COIL OVER FRONY END ITS NICE. THE REAR IS EVEN BETTER! EVEN ON THE 405 ON THE UNEAVEN STUFF. ITS MUCH BETTER NOW THEY HAVE A 9 TIMES STIFFER FRAME. IF U WANT TO DRIVE MINE COME BY THE SHOP AND TAKE IT FOR A RIDE.

Damn, that looks great! I wasnt liking the new bodystyle at first, but like always im coming around. I have found myself test driving the new ones with the 6.0 in it...Im kinda hooked now. Especially since they finally got some decent interior as well.
The only thing I would do to your truck is color match the door handles or maybe chrome...:)

Truck looks good. I'm a Chevy guy and have owned three but the new body is not my favorite. Am I the only one that is still not sold on the new body style? Is the 5.3 the same one they had in the old body style or did they make some improvements that will help us out with our towing and performance?

the rcd kit wont be avail for a few weeks to a month. the fabtech kit is avail now with out coilovers. the procomp kit is also avail with out coilovers. and i think superlift has thiers avail now. cst is on the way with a kit and so is donahoe. let me know if u need anything.

yes i got it. i called rcd on friday to confirm that u dont need to spend the extra 600.00 on a front drive shaft. they design their kit with the correct front pinion angles for the front 4wd. they have by far one of the best kits out thier for your tahoe. i will pm u a total for the kit installed with an alignment.

How's the stablitrac functionality? Pro Comp, SuperLift and Rancho all have major issues. Fabtech is the only one so far that works clean from what i have heard. They also have a 2.5 Coilover for it as well.
the coil overs have not been relesed yet. as of friday when i called. the stabitrack on my truck works fine no issues yet. rcd had my truck for about 6 weeks and on road and off road no problems.

the speedo is all wacked. so i dont have a real good number on the milage. i am installing 4.56 gears in it this weekend so i will be able to have a real idea when that gets done. but for now i think im in the 12s. also the computer chip is not avail yet. so stand by ill report some numbers later. :)
