I took all the kids and their BF/GF's out to a Benihana kinda restaurant last nite.
Usually the place is packed, needed reservations,, has been that way for decades,, but lately walk right in,, maybe 60% full.
Still, it isn't cheap.
Have you cut back on dining out?

All I do is eat out... or fast food... When I was married, we would eat out 2 to 3 times a week, but I preferred home cooking as to eating out all the time.

We eat out probably five times a week during the winter, but we tend to bbq a lot during the summer.

If you call Dennys saturday night kids eat free dining out, then no we still go.:D
unless you can get to nice places I would rather eat at home anyway, too much crappy food eating out.

There's know dought. I don't eat out near as much as I use to.
I took the family last weekend to the Hard Rock Cafe for hambergers.
That's four of us. I had two beers with my burger and our tab was $80.00
freaking dollars. FOR HAMBERGERS!!! http://www.***boat.com/forums/images/smilies/00000039.gif

We have, my wife is going to get her master's and we dont want to take any student loans. Both of our jobs are tied to new home contruction and this is a pretty slow year. This year =more bills + less income:( . Oh well, gotta take some lumps, were in it for the long haul:)

we eat out more often now then we use to. the wife and i meet for lunch almost every day which is real easy considering she only works 2 miles from the house and all the kids are in school. we take the whole family (6) out to eat once or twice a week depending on what we are doing.

Since we doubled our mortgage.... we eat out less..... but it has not bothered us as much as we thought it would.... Makes eating out a bit of a treat rather then a norm.....

Didja get any variety on that home cooking with all of the different wives? :D

We eat out less. Money is one reason, my increasingly anti-social tendancies is another, and boredom with the local fare is part of it. I am far less tolerant of people than I used to be.
