We just fueled the boat and were heading to Castaic for a day of Water skiing and wakeboarding.
We stopped at a red lite.
Father Michael was crossing the street with a bag of groceries and waved to us.
We yell'd to him if he'd like to join us. He said "Sure".
We swung around, and he grabbed some things and hop'd in the truck.
Father Michael looks 10 years old.
He's from Wisconsin, so that tells you 2 things:
He drinks beer and waterskis.
He is a very good skier I was pulling him at about 40 MPH, which is a speed if you fall you are mad at the world.
Later that day we pulled into Elizabeth canyon and were downing some brews, and some sandwitch's and snacks my daughter had made.
My daughter mentioned about her girlfriend delivering a baby (at 15) any minute now.
I didn't want my daughter around it,, at least until the drama had settled.
Father Michael said she should be there for the delivery.
"Witnessing that event is the best birth control a girl can get" he said.
So, I gave up my old school ideas, I told her to go when the call comes through.
Good idea. I think it worked.
Sometimes seeing the results of someones actions is the best lesson of all.

That's all good.
Gotta be murder going through your kids divorce.
Maybe even worse than your own.
