I think Mb's got the shiznit in that Wake board boat.I haven't personally heard it but have heard about it.
As far as my system it's a few years dated but still works pretty good.
All Kicker stuff 4-12's 8-6 1/2's 4-6x9's 4000 watts

Yeah a decent system is a must! With the amount of time we spend in our boats.I saw you drive by once or twice in Crazy Horse but never actually saw where you were camped. You going back this year?We should have our trailer in by end of April, stop by next time.

I did not get to make it out to much the last few years (new baby/new company) so I did not use my spot to much. We are in North Beach backed up to the channel. Perfect spots.. I should be setting up 5/3 then plan on being out just about every weekend this year. I'll definately look look for you this year. Shadow & Mbrown post up what you guys got as I know you both got some killer systems...
I think I have posted details about it on another site...I will try and find/post them...it does the job....its not a huge system system by today's standards but it is the right mix of gear and does good for the rider 80' behind the boat.....or the party on the swimstep :).....I am a firm believer the right gear placed right does better then too much gear and too much power. The more gear, the more power you need, then more batteries or other options you need to employ to keep it charged and the whole system just gets more complex....

Hope this helps....if I had a new boat today, I would probably not change much except maybe employ more efficient digital Alpine amps that I have used in the Schiada...super small and run cool....Also, I would try and do 1000watts at least to a W7 or like sub....These NVS can over power even the loudest sub...also have level controls for the in boat speaker and one for the tower so you can talk in the boat and rider can still hear or you can listen in the boat and not piss off the beach...

Tobtek also did a very nice system in his F26...very nice system....there should be pics around here...
Also Adam from Wired for Sound has a pretty over the top setup in his Eliminator Daytona 26....very sick, very loud...
Shockwavebob from the boards (used to be) has a pretty over the top system in his Warlock deck boat (seach for pics from him)...
Last Summer/Fall we were at the upper Sandbar during the Mastercraft regatta and their was an X-Star there that had the best sounding system I have heard....no joke...pretty much made me want a new wakeboard so I could start over again. :)...
In the Schiada, I had Car Toyz (Frank is the man there...hands down Money) put in a very clean simple system....but this is really the only music that gets much played in that boat...

The sub is up/under the drivers dash...not sure what you mean loading off anything....it is in a slot loaded enclosure you can see the slot/port to the left of the sub...hits very good for single 12" with 600 watts...
Two W7's like you are doing with 1000 a sub should kill fish :)

I mean loading off another surface before you hear it, like in a hatch back, downfired, or engine compartment in a boat. I guess you're listening to it directly if it's under your dash?
I'm running two bd1500's for them. I just haven't figured out if I want to try and down fire them like the 12's or fire them into the engine compartment. I really didn't want to fire them directly into the cockpit.

Tuned right in a slot loaded enclosure; I have witnessed a single 12W7 with 1000JL pushing it basically put out what seemed like twice the bass as my 12W6 with 600watts....the boats were right next to each other in the water....Audioconcepts in Simi did the installs on boat enclosures as well so it was apples to apples. In the right enclosure single W7 can move some serious air...

Leaning towards one but want the symetrical look of two :D :D . I know, stupid. I bought on 1000jl amp last year so I would be good to go with that.

Damn, Robin Trower.....man did that hit close to home! I had one of those bad boys when I was young, not to mention the Deep Purple, Montrose, UFO, Led Zep, Nazareth and Stones tapes to go with it! Damn those were good times! Cough, cough, cough.....hey anybody got some Dorito's?

Going with the 13w7 but can't decide to do one or two??
I have one JL 12W7 powered by a Phoenix Gold Xenon 1200.1, and it will just about tear the boat apart, so if you went with two JL 13W7"s, you would probably have to put new fasteners in the boat, each time out. :D
