That's because I wasn't there. Now if I saw you I would wave (Talbert). But I'm always good for a cold one. You just have to find me at the house though. On the boat I usually only pack two for the day. One for my morning beer and one to go with lunch. I do not drink and drive. If I have a few then we are sitting for a few hours or a qualified person is driving. So if you want a beer on the water then you better catch me early in the day or else your only going to get water or gatorade.

Ultra June 15-16th
Dam! I probably won't be able to try again at getting best poker hand. Would have had it last year with an Ace high straight but since Jokers Wild promotions ran it then they apparantly make Jokers Wild. I had a great hand and got beat by a garbage hand with Jokers all the way down to third place. 175 bucks instead of like 1200 or something like that. :( Oh well paid for the regatta tickets and had a good time.

Yeah, it's fathers Day weekend again this year. We have been doing it that weekend for a few years now and it seems to work out nice because it's right between Memorial and the Fourth of July. Sorry that some of you can't make it.
I'm looking into renting this big water slide this year. I know all the kids would use it, but I'm not sure if it would be worth it to get it because the spot they would have to set it up is half way into the channel.

Slide looks like fun....forget the kids....I want to try it...:D
It would be nice if the slide was set-up right on or just behind the beach area(Rotary Beach?) that we all parked at last year...That way mom's and dad's can stay with the boats, talk with other adults and not have the kids too far away.....if the slide was too far away and would require you to park away from the group or walk a long way...I don't think it would be worth it.....
I'm thinking right on the beach with the end of the slide going out into the lake with a jump at the end ......:devil: :D
And I like the no Jokers idea in the deck. We're pretty pumped about being able to partake in the poker this year....we haven't be able to run the lake the last two years either with pregant wife or baby....can't wait.
Also I really liked the Casino night the year before.....last year's regatta was fun but the Casino night really made it fun to meet and interact with other Ultra owners.....last years was a little to run of the mill regatta for me....I know it takes a lot of work off your shoulders JW to have Joker's Wild run the event...but maybe's there is a compromise that can include the Casino night??? :)

Thanks for reminding me about that. I'm going to let them know that I don't want Jokers in the deck this year.No problem. I think the PBR boat won because they got two jokers in their hand. Maybe I can try and win next year. This year is a little too close to the due date. I guess we'll have to see if the doc says it's okay but I'm still not sure I'd want to risk it. Having a kid in the middle of the desert would not be good.

Voodoo, I work for a German printing press manufacturer KBA and I normally go to Deutchland twice a year. It's starting to interfeer with my boating activities and im really annoyed. :mad:

Make those two trips between November and February. Not that you can't boat then but it's not as big a deal as missing out on boating in June. :idea:

Those two trips are not the only problem, I travel approx 6 months total per year. I might make it for friday of the regatta.
