Anyone have some creative looking driveway suggestions or pics for their driveway to their boat parking spot? I will be driving across my grass in my front lawn to access the concrete pad on the side of my house until I install a driveway. I'm looking for something more creative than just plain concrete. My neighbors and HOA gotta love me!

Honey comb bricks laid on their side, then sod right over the top of them. That way you dont sink into the lawn while backing your boat over it, and the grass is still in the yard keeping the HOA happy.

I think there may be more than a few cars that have problems with that approach angle!

I agree, turf block so the ground won't sink when you drive across it, but you will maintain the look of the grass lawn

Thanks for all the replies! I'll look into the honeycomb brick idea. Anybody ever try compacting gravel for a base layer. Then laying large stepping stones spaced apart so that grass may grow in between the stones? Would the stepping stones crack under the pressure of a 8500 pound boat and trailer?

I know we used to drive the fire engine over turf block. No problems.
