What restaurant would you like to see in Havasu?

I was just wondering what restaurant you guys and gals would like to see in Havasu.
Preferably a chain or franchise style restaurant.
It can be fast food, steak house, seafood; I don't care. I would just like an idea.
Even if it already exist in the Havasu area, what could it use more of?
How big of a restaurant could Havasu support? Could it support a big place like The Claim Jumper? Or would it be dead in the winter.
Just wondering what you guys think?

Why don't all you guys just stay in OC? There you can go to all the chain places you want to....lol I prefer independant places myself but there aren't enough good ones in Havasu or BHC. I cringe everytime they talk about a new restaraunt coming to town and it ends up being another friggin' fast food place.

When I am out I love to BBQ at home regardless. I try to make a big breakfast early in the AM and go without lunch. If it wasn't for friends wanting to go out I would rarely go out into town. I like being on the water and kicking back at home. Of course the occasional drunk fest in town is fun though :)

Go get a burger at Del Taco. Same thing. Dick Naugle was a Del Taco employee and went and started his own chain. After a few years Del Taco bought Naugles. Lot's of similarities in the menu.

The last time I was in Indianapolis, I stayed right beside a Waffle & Steak, also a 24 hour joint. It was fantastic.
When I first got there, I curled my lip and assumed I wouldn't be eating there. One night, with nothing else open and hungry as hell, I stopped in and it was pretty good. They introduced me to a tastegasm they insisted on calling the pecan waffle. It didn't suck.
I wouldn't have thought waffles and steak could go together like that but after trying it I can see waffles and steak go together like high blood pressure and cholesterol. :cool:

You've been in Parker too long. There is no great Italian joint that is a chain. Olive Garden is good for all you can eat breadsticks and salad so you can take a couple bites of your dinner and then have lunch for the next day.

Boatcop, I like you, but Olive Garden is the worst....LOL. Have you ever seen European Vacation when the Griswolds are in France? They go to that sidewalk cafe and all the chefs are inside microwaving dishes to serve to customer. That is what OG reminds me of.
I would at least like to see a Macarroni grill or Carabas. At least they are a notch up.

Yeah EGEES, great sandwiches, open late and almost all of the shaved ice/slushy drinks go good with Vodka or Rum. Lived there in the mid/late 70's. Went to U of A. We called it Toostoned though.
