There used to be a Liger at the Hogle Zoo here in SLC, her name was Shasta.
She was HUGE (approx 15' long) she died of old age in 1972
If I remember correctly she was 24

I remember seeing Shasta when I was in grade school..... :D By the time she died she was a sack of bones. I think she only weighed about 95 lbs at the time of her death and had been "off display" for years.
