So Mission Viejo - one of the safest cities and all. I can tell you there would have been small dings in that claim had I caught these dip shits.
My house is right around the corner. Took one of my trucks home to pick up some windows for my casa the other day. Came out at 7:00 am to get the truck back and
I have three of these trucks. Two are FRP bodies (basically fiberglass) and graffiti comes right off those trucks. One is a tin body with enamel paint and graffiti STICKS and takes hours to remove.
Guess which one I took home?
To me this is like little rich kid guerrilla warfare.

I heard a rumor that WD-40 will take graffiti off trucks like that. A few trucks on another boating board got hit. Figure it's worth a try. It would be fun to catch one of those little bastards in action and go all Pac-man in Colors on them (I'm thinking that was the movie). :D

The depot has a graffiti remover that works pretty well.

That totally sucks!!!
I was very lucky a few years back and caught a couple of these little a##holes. Long story short, police showed up, I pointed them out, they got locked up!!! It felt so good.

I used to work for a delivery outfit right out of high school. There was a problem with our bigger trucks getting tagged. My boss would remove the graffitti and sure enough the next morning it was back.
One summer night after he had had enough he decided to camp out on top of one of the trucks to catch who ever it was tagging the trucks. His weapon of choice was a bucket of murratic acid. Sure as shit, that night a car drove up and parked, a kid got out and quickly started his "artwork". My boss grabbed the bucket and let it go. It messed the kid up pretty bad. Ends up it was an employee who was a wannabe bad ass.
We saw him about a week later when he came in to pick up his paycheck after being off work for awhile.

Couldn't not.
I'll second the penetrating oil idea but do it ASAP because it gets tougher the longer you leave it.
Oh.... and use a course brush too, instead of a rag.

I think that the artists involved should be charged with multiple counts based on how many people see their work. On a corner with, say 1000 cars passing in a day, should be 1000 counts of the same crime. A year mininum jail time would put a stop to that crap. 2nd offense, 10 years in prison, no parole. Their actions border on crimes against humanity, is a slap in the face of all that see it, torpedoes property value, invites additional crime, and generally screws everybody that is forced to look at it. Hell, lets just string their ass up for their friends to see, bet that would stop them.........Get a rope!!.....MP

Graffiti a crime against humanity? That's some hardcore shit there, Moneypitt.
Perhaps it's not quite on the same level as, say..... genocide?

It's Urban genocide. Shoot on sight I say. A properly placed bullet could cure the problem.

Rattle can Lou...LMAO! I did not see that one in the headlights.
Home Depot Graffiti remover worked somewhat but this was good spray paint. The box paint comes off easier then the spray paint. MEK and Acetone was it. Its Clean now. I worked on it, a couple of my guys worked on it, Sheriff took a lovely pic of it (for gang tracking...BFD) and now it's clean.
If you look at the pic, just to the right of the tree you can see a tan stucco house. That is how close to the a-holes my kitchen window is.
Lying in wait...I have considered that. Pool Acid:sqeyes: Nice! This is the 2nd time Flix has worked his rich kid dumb ass talent on me. I hardly ever bring a truck home and about a year ago was his 1st attempt. No doubt he lives in the neighborhood.
The worst part is I lost a day of run time on the truck. We are HOA contractors and I cannot take a truck like that into a condo assoc.
Thanks for all the humor. Thats actually why I posted it up.

This happens to my trucks on weekly basis, the best thing I have used is reducer from a auto body paint shop. Just use lots of clean rags as it takes the spray paint right up and you need the rags clean as to not transfer the spraypaint back on the truck.

That sucks but thanfully you were able to get it all removed. One day you will catch that little focker and you can graffiti him.

I love it! I'm glad he got away with it, sounds like a good way to end up in jail.
