Speaking of which, do either of you have a good link for a DEI/Orion sales site? Gotsta start getting little things. 20F cap/dist, rolls of power cable (1/0) and such.

Starting with 2 DEI 15SXs, sealed and separated in the nose. 1-Orion 2400D to them. Probably leave it at 2 ohms for the SXs. I may, in the future, swap them for Orion H2s, and run them at 1 ohm.
Have six Eclipse 6x9 4ways (may end up with total of 8) running off of an Orion 800/4.
That's why the cap.

Not necessary in a boat application being that most of the time you are running with the stereo with the motor off. I can go into a loooong technical explanation.....but it has been covered here before. Basically spend the money on another Batt.

There will be 3 blue Optimas for the stereo alone, but I always think of a cap providing the instant HP to the amp on hard hits and such. Since it will discharge faster than a battery and provide stable voltage. Plus, need a distribution block anyway, might as well be all in one.

You could buy a much cheaper dist. block and use the leftover $$$ for gas. or to tip your installer :D

Cool. I have been leaning that way, as they are the same price and I like the adjustablitity. Not that it would necessarily be needed, but it is there just the same.
