Just curious about the second home people have. I see a lot of really nice places and was curious if it is nice then what you live in for the first home.

It's not "ON" the river, it's in a trailer park at Katherines Landing...:D
We can't afford "on" the river :(
(maybe someday)

How havasu house is nicer because it's new vs our 10yr house that we live in, also less crap up at the havasu house

We have a nice 20 year old home 2400 sq ft home in Yorba Linda and a 4 year old home 1700 sq ft. in Havi. Both are furnished different. Y.L mission style and Havi southwest. The dogs like playing on the grass more then the rocks though.:)

the havi house we have was 2 years old when we bought it 18 years ago and is a couple hundred sq ft bigger then our ca house which was build in 1978 on an acre and a quarter. the ca place is worth a little more then the havi place. i have grown to like the small houses mostly because of the small payments :D

The Shack is absolutely terrible. Even the cockroaches won't stay there. We have to drink heavily when we're there so we can't focus and see how ugly it really is. We park boats all around it to block the view.
I still love it though.....:D

Well since my Havi house is the only house I own then yes I wished I lived in it. But the home I live in here (with my parents  ) is much nicer I would have to say. :D

It's a pit (OK a nice pit). A couple of friends of mine have houses that are real nice & they're paranoid about dirt being tracked in the house, or people sitting on the couches with wet trunks, etc.. We intentionally made our house funtional with a lot of beds & all used but decent furniture. We go there to have a great time, not to worry about something getting damaged.

Well mines not a house but a condo, so I would have to say my house is nicer and larger, but I like my view in Havi better:D

How nice is our home at the river?

If that gives you any idea.

River house is not even close....its a river house and built as such.....small but packs a lot of people, lots of ice chests, concrete floors built for drinking, stereo built for partying, but its got this one thing that crushes the 1st home.....its a couple hundred ft from the lauch ramp, docks, and water......and walking distance across the street from the bar :)

I own 3 pieces of dirt at the river. Maybe someday before I retire one will have a home on it.

We dont own one yet... Would like to buy a house, but im thinking a condo might be more realistic. Then i dont have to do as much maintanance, yard work, painting exteriors, etc... Just show up and drink, but then i wont have a spot for the boat either.

Havasu house in nicer in that it is newer, has a nice view and has a pool, not as nice in that it takes too focken long to get there and is smaller than my regular house. ;)

Don't have a house at Havi. But I do have a couple of condos at the beach. They are furnished better than my house as far as original art work and such. But neither unit is anywhere close to the size of my house. The view is much better at the condos :D

Anyone seen my bro in laws? It is a palace! Cruise up Jones drive. It is about 1/2 mile up on the left. With a river running thru the front yard.It is sick and such a killer pad. Nice place to hang by the pool on crowded weekends...
