It works better than advertised.
Wes first posted his Rhino with this light setup and I waiting for a fwe months for it. Turns out, it is bad a$$!!!! They are really bright and throw the light very far. You will not be able to out drive these lights at all.
The way they put the light out is very unique. 4 HIDs put 4 round spots on the gound in front of you and light kind of shoots out from those spots. Well, with this LED light bar, there is more of a runway of constant light for a few hundred feet in front of you.
I am glad I didn't do HIDs on mine and went with the LED. It was well worth the wait and they are easy on the battery as well. I had left the light on for 45 minutes (with the Rhino off) and the Rhino started right up. Also, these lights are cool to the touch. After running it over an hour, you can touch it and barely feel any warmth. They draw 12 amps total.
Wes, thanks again, and we bought the entire first production run :D if that tells you how much we believe in them.
Also, big thanks to Brian (wsuwrhr) for getting us the billet mounts which worked great.

Here is a post I made about them on GD.com.
The retail price is $1299.95, which is less than (4) 6" HIDs. This light bar is comparable to that many HIDs.
Here is what we thought...
First, a ton of people came and looked at them when we first pulled up. The setup just looks trick because it really isn't that big at all and the weight is killer too.
So darkness rolls in and we have a few Rhinos lined up. Both Rhinos with the LED bars are there, the TCB Rhino was there with (6) 6" Vision X HIDs 35w, and 2 other Rhinos showed. 1 of those 2 had an HID light bar, and the other had 4 HIDs just above the hood on the cage.
The light is a little different. It was really hard to tell exactly which was better at first. There was so much light from everything that they all had their plus and minus to them. In my opinion, the good spot HIDs throw light further than the LEDs.
However, the way the LED bar puts out light is amazing. It still throws it VERY far. With the HIDs, you get round spots of light on the ground in front of you. The best part of these LEDs is that there are no dead spots like there are with HIDs. The LED lit the ground for a few hundred feet in front of the Rhino and the light was consistent.
After comparing to the other rhinos, we took mine for a ride to see how fast we could go without feeling uncomfortable. 50 MPH, was no problem. We ended up going to another camp where I had some friends. At this camp was a friend with an Arctic Cat with (4) 9" HIDs. This was the red Prowler with the custom motor if anyone saw it. We compared those lights to the LEDs, and this is where I was really sold on the LEDs. For whatever reason, at that first test place, the LEDs seemed to be just under what HIDs were. Compared to these 9" HIDs at the angle on the carts where we were testing now, the LEDs outperformed the 9" HIDs. The consistent flow of light from 8' in front of my Rhino to about 100 yards is amazing. You can see everything on the ground. Not just 4 bright spots as an HID would be, but an even flow of light with a 3 degree spread forward. The spots on the LEDs are a 3 degree spot.
The Prowler had a remote for adjusting the HIDs on the light bar, it was damn cool, but by having that, he could adjust the HIDs when doing the comparison, and the LEDs had a much better pattern it seemed at every angle we tried it at. You can see these LEDs from very far away, and after having them on for 1 hour straight, you can walk up and grab all around the lights with no heat.
The LEDs draw about 12 amps of power. I let the light stay on without the motor running for about 45-50 minutes, and the Rhino started right up.
Overall, I think it is very close with the HIDs and LED light bar. For the Rhino, I would get the LED bar without hesitation. At about $1300, you have the LED light bar that is ready to bolt onto the Rhino. Compare that to 4 HIDs on a bar, and it is about $400-$500 cheaper for the LEDs. 6" HIDs are about $350 each if you find a good deal, add the light bar for them and you are about $1700-$1900 depending on who makes the bar.
There are NO external ballasts on the LED bar either. All you need is the LED bar itself and you are done!!! All the ballasts are internal and the wiring is simple. A positive and negative coming out of it, that’s it. In general, LEDs last forever it seems too, so buying this light setup should last you years.
The set up I will be rolling with is the 40" bar with all spots on it, and then 2 sections down low of the spread pattern. The spread pattern should throw almost just as far as the spots, it just has a 13 degree spread over the 3 degree from the spots.
For someone not trying to spend too much, the 40” bar will be available with 2 spot sections and 2 flood sections on the bar. That will be perfect for night riding as fast as your Rhino will go! I just want overkill, so I am adding the LEDs down low as well, but they are not needed.
We will be out at Buttercup on Presidents Day with them once again if anyone wants to see them.

I have some questions, I'm not running them down I think its a great idea for a rhino.
I have 3 Vison HID's on the roof of my buggy(rockcrawler/prerunner) and additional 2 hella H4 e bay HID conversions.
You said that the HID's had uneven light. I have not experienced this in any way with my HID's. They light up the desert like a football stadium with clear even light. Is it possible that the HID's may have been poorly adjusted or not getting enough amp's? I also wonder what you would need HID's for on a rhino. I had to install a couple lazer's on the bumper to run when we are in a group, my HID's blind everyone, sh!t I can't even look into them in the daytime with out getting blinded. the visons are also internal balasts.
If this truly is a more even better light I would love to get a look at them, I'm racing my crawler in a very tough race in the coming months that will likely go into the night. My Hid's are great but if this is better, lower profile, and lighter I'm interested.

The 40" bar is 11 pounds.
Now to the questions....
It is a different light than the HIDs. In all of the HIDs I have seen, they throw out a TON of light, yes. However, it seems that there are bright round spots on the ground with light radiating outward from those spots and it fills the area in front of you. I think it is a good alternative, and where weight matters, these win. No bulky light bar needed.
The difference I see with the LED light bar is that there is more of a consistent light in front of you for about 250'. The spot version like I hve has a 3 degree spread. The spread version will have a 13 degree spread.
The light is instant bright, and you can turn it on and off as many times as you like and as fast as you like as well without hurting the lights.
These LEDs will last thousands of hours burn time as well.
For Rhinos, yes it is overkill, but there are a lot of people running HID light bars. This is a great alternative because it can fit flush and you dont have to take it off or fold it down to get in a trailer.

I agree over kill but cool looking none the less. But that's why I don't spend the coin for HID's just too damn much. My 2 100w Lazer Stars $ 79.00 for the pair at the Chaparal sale on the front bumper are more than enough. I don't use enough at nigh to justify.... But if I had your money I'd by 3 sets...:D

I like the LED bar.
But, I don't know how you guys drive with overhead lights...they bug the shit out of me, especially when there is a ton of dust...like at Glamis. That dust gets lit up right in your face and diminishes your night vision.

Just 1 too many turns in 2wd doing slides in the sand. It was funny as shiat.
He crawled out of there and the music was still pounding and the lights all shined bright.
Didn't even dump an ounce of fuel (his gas tank is on the drivers side due to a supercharger).
