The chances of that happening are about the same as you winning the lottery. :confused: The stats that I heard while learning to skydive were pretty amazing. They said that for every 2,000 jumps you do, you will have one reserve canopy ride. One out of every 4,000 reserve canopy deployments will result in a failure. With the amount of gear checks and the FAA's rules governing sky diving (in the U.S.) I will take my chances. :)

I think the craziest part of that video is watching that shadow grow as he nears the ground in the last 100 or so feet, that would be so f'n scary too see.
