All things considered from who was available, he was the best choice. Would have loved to have seen Bill Cowher in the drivers seat though...

Granted, you asked what Charger fans think.
You get back the guy who installed your offense, we get your linebackers coach.
Maybe you got the better end of this deal.
Niner fans aren't too happy. Norv put in an offense that our near-rookie QB could run and be confident in. We were hoping for "Troy Aikman" results in a year or so.
Mike Nolan got John York to open his "uncrackable" wallet to the tune of $1.75 million to offer Norv. One of the highest-paid coordinator jobs in the NFL.
Norv chose the Chargers. Niners are looking for their third offensive coordinator in three years, and the pickings at this point are slim.
With the Chargers talent, and his $ 3 mil salary, Norv better win the Super Bowl.
Two steps back up here, and Norv will hear about it when he returns to the Bay Area.

He's one of the worst coaches in the NFL, a total worthless empty jock strap.
As someone else said, remember the great job he did for the Raiders.....
I went to all the home games this year......next year, to watch Norv turn them into a loosing team.....PROBABLY NOT!
