As a Texan, I must apologize for the folks over in the Beaumont/Port Arthur/Orange area.
While they are not only are they affected by the close proximity to Louisiana (just across the Sabine River), exposure to the incredible concentration of refineries and chemical plants in the area results in reduced cognitive function among the local population.
I should also mention the recent influx of Canatard oilfield workers into the area has driven down the median IQ substantially. :) :D

My freind got promoted when he worked at Pier One Imports in F.W. and his wife trnsfered to Dallas. So they bought a house in Colleyville. Half way between both cities. In the 5 years that they lived there, they never found a good freind to hang out with. And they are very out going. Snobs:(

They were so unimpressed with Texas that they brought there boat back to Havi and flew into Phoenix and rented a car once a month and drove to Havi. They are now retired there.:)

We joke around a lot about the strange neighborhood but he works all the time so he doesn't notice it much. He's from this part of the world too though. Not a So. Cal native like me.
Off to bed myself....it's almost 11 here and today a bobcat bit me and jumped on my back while wrestling with me...yikes!!! I'm exhausted...
