I thought Wethull was gonna buy your motor?
I would put it in a 18-20ft jet boat.

Good eye! Just out of Katerine's Landing on the right side just before you turn up the lake towards gasoline alley. I moved here two years ago.

That was my second choice. The Howard will probably be faster than the Schiada but a Schiada is a Schiada. :D

This would be a good candidate also. If someone would give me $20k for my Howard I will go get this boat this week!!!!!!!!!!

21 Schiada wouldn't be a bad choice, 21 Howard Custom Cruiser and Spectra 20 also equally as good for flat hauling ass! :) Great rough water boats, and they are all capable of handling the HP.
If it was me personally and I had the dough, I'd go with the Custom Cruiser.. ;)
Or I'd find Parnelli Jone's ole 24 Spectra that was floating around and stick the motor in that. It's big enough you can run it to Catalina, but small enough you can run it on the river and Havi and it's still fun to drive. :)

what about a rayson craft 21' and good luck finding a schiada 21' rc with no motor, but if you want a complete twin turbo schiada pm me and you could save the 540 for a spare even though you wouldnt need it any time soon.

I haven't seen it in a few years but if memory serves it was mainly blue and white and it had a thin red stripe down by the keel. I heard the new owner finally changed the color of that stripe becuase he got tired of everyone asking him if it was PJ's old boat. (Who knows if that's true or not?)
Hustler's friend end up buying it, but I think he was trying to sell it awhile back, or it did sell? I dunno.. I know that boat had the hook taken out of the bottom of it and it ran pretty hard.

If you cant swing a Schiada, do a Vector.

The Schiada 21 River tunnel or the Cole 22 Nighthawk would also seem to me to be good hulls for that motor, as well as the Schiada 21 River Cruiser and the Stoker 224.

Funny story:
My Grandfather had his Campbell made in the late sixties the motor was done by Bobby Unser. Grandpa had been coming to Havasu for a while already.. anyway he said he was down in Havasu Springs with about 8 people in the boat and a Green Campbell (with two people in it)pulled along side him and motioned to race. So they got on it and Grandpa left him... Later that week back at home he talked to Unser and told him how great the motor ran. Unser asked him if he was in havasu and if he had raced a green campbell. He said yes. Unser said, well that was Parnelli Jones and he just called me and wants me to build him a motor.
BTW. I still have the motor that Unser built in storage. Maybe the Spectra came after the Campbell.

What a great pice of history! Seems like the Schiada is the most common choice. (Not a bad idea Danny) ??? Anyone else have any wish boats?

You could always put it in my boat. But if its a tunnel ram on it we may have to put a different manifold on it. :D :D
