I think you definitely should buy a 98 kawasaki 1100.

I might have to think about that one. Wonder if the seller will deliver to the river, Water Wheel to be precise.:)

i have always owned sea-doos over the years, currently have a 2006 GTX with a 155hp 4 stroke runs about 60mph depending on the size of the rider. very stable with 3 riders and rides better then some boats i have owned. service is about $200 a year and your good to go. you will get about 4 hours of good ride time on a full tank of fuel. (approx 15 gallons)
if 60 isn't fast enough then they also have a 185 hp and a 215 hp models.
this is the one i have

just my personal expericance 2003 GTXDI 951CC I bought new in Parker, AZ. Been in the shop 6 different times. 1st day in the water it had problems. Over 3 years, throttle sensor failure, fuel pump when bad at 80hrs. $600 to replace (was in shop for 2 months for that), mirrors came lose, seat was defective, jet pump bolts came lose, voltage rectifier burned out. Just to name a few. Also gas milage is terrible 6 miles to the gallon, and for a gallon of bombardier xpsII oil costs over $50 bucks.
This piece of junk ever since day one and has left me stranded on the river lots of times and just my advise to anyone looking for a sea-doo, don't buy one!

My Sea Doo has been very dependable and we treat it like shiat. The worse thing about PWC's is that you have to change the batteries every other year.

My parents are selling their 2 Yamahas....They are really nice. Not sure of the year--2005 I think....They have barely been used and are totally stock. Both are 3 seaters and go in the 60 mph range. Both are 4 strokes-one of them goes reverse, too....I can find out more if you like. They are in Tustin now--only used in Needles. ;)

We have two GP 1200 yamaha's 2 person and they haul butt. they are 1998 and in real good shape. IF you are thinking about older good ones, let me know - maybe we will make you a deal!

mine got reverse and nuetral to,full digitial instrument with fuel level, speed, water temp, air temp, hours used, direction headed, pretty tricked out , 3 seaters ,also its spelled fook you and fook me on back (like in austin powers),also have two sets of keys for each one,one is full power key and the other is for kids and gives them throttle only a 3rd of the power(great for kids)

bought my seadoo last april and i have 60+ hours on it now without any problems at all. just had it serviced for the spring and the original battery is still good to go. i really like the fuel injected 4 strokes, was never a big fan of the 2 strokes even though i have owned them.

Definately get one that has Reverse...makes for nice braking action around docks, boats etc...For some reason Yammer Hammer puts their reverse handle on the right side (same hand as your throttle) kinda goofy imo.
I had great luck with my 2000 Seadoo RX.

I have a friend that owns a small boat and motorcycle service shop and he tell me all the time that if it wasn't for sea doo he would have very few PWC repairs. He says sea doo's keep him in business.

DO NOT BUY SEADOO!.. there parts are expensive and they're a biatch to work on. I really like yamaha's and Kawi's. I would also stay away from 3 seaters because the are big..not fun ....and basically suck! I call them Grandpa Skis. lol
Oh and do make sure you get the reverse. Its makes for a easy launch and easy to move around the docks....and you can do bad ass submarines(like the stand ups). Better install another bilge pupmp though..haha I also recommend buying a four-stroke!
If you really wanna have fun..buy a stand up. I have a kawi 650sx. Its bitchin!
